Solution Overview
Scope focused on steam-flaked corn: upgrading tempering, conditioning, flaking, and drying/cooling. Key moves included introducing a German Vibronet tempering machine to shorten soaking from ~18 hours to ~4, and replacing legacy conditioning towers and dryers with Bellaex 8.5 TPH units together with FC7150SF flaking mills—phasing out prior imported equipment. The result: higher, steadier throughput and lower operating cost around 200 TPD. (Vibronet 18→4 h; equipment changes and 8.5 TPH per case source.)
Implementation / Timeline & Results
- 2015–2020 — Reliability first. Bellaex supplied high-performance flaking rollers, upgraded hydraulic pump stations, and provided maintenance to stabilize output.
- 2018 — Process upgrade. Watering/tempering modernized with a German Vibronet tempering machine to accelerate moisture uptake and shorten soak time (≈18 h → ≈4 h).
- 2021 — Three-month retrofit. Conditioning towers and dryers replaced with Bellaex 8.5 TPH units; FC7150SF flakers installed. Commissioning lifted capacity to about 8.5 TPH (≈200 TPD); subsequent runs reached up to 10 TPH.
- Outcome — Capacity gain. The line increased from roughly 130 TPD to ~200 TPD with improved stability and serviceability.
Scope / What We Do
- Roll supply and changeover for flakers; on-line inspection and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Hydraulic pump station upgrades and tuning for uniform nip pressure and safer operation.
- Replacement of legacy conditioning towers and dryers with Bellaex 8.5 TPH equipment, including controls integration.
- Installation of FC7150SF corn flaking mills with commissioning and operator training.
- Process upgrade to German Vibronet tempering to reduce soak time (~18 h → ~4 h).
- Ramp-up support to stabilize at ~200 TPD with targeted optimization and after-sales service.
