Bellaex Horizontal Drying and Cooling System | Enabling Efficient Drying and Cooling for Corn Flakes and Other Granular Materials
Double-Layer Horizontal Dryer Box
Compared with traditional vertical coolers and counterflow dryer-coolers, this horizontal system delivers stronger combined performance in drying, dewatering, and cooling. Under real production conditions, it can consistently reduce moisture from around 20% to below 14%, shortening drying cycles and improving line throughput. It also maintains stable discharge temperatures even in high-heat environments, facilitating downstream packaging and storage while reducing risks of caking and mold. The structural design accommodates diverse climates across regions, offering broader adaptability with lower specific energy consumption and a smaller footprint—an attractive, high-value option for upgrading existing corn flakes production lines.
The system suits a wide range of granular materials and applications, from post-flaking drying and cooling of corn flakes, sorghum, and barley, to stabilizing discharge of extruded soy and pellet feed, as well as efficient moisture reduction for organic compound fertilizers and various grains. For end users, more uniform moisture reduction and cooling translate into more stable product quality, fewer downstream quality issues and maintenance burdens; standardized and modular design improves delivery reliability and efficiency, fits different plant layouts, and enables rapid integration and capacity expansion—ultimately reducing costs, boosting efficiency, and elevating quality.
Multiple horizontal drying and cooling units are now in the shipping phase and being loaded for dispatch. As equipment arrives on-site, commissioning and upgrades of related corn flakes production lines will accelerate. Bellaex notes that this new release addresses key pain points in granular drying and cooling, optimizing the entire chain from moisture control to cooling quality to provide a more efficient and stable solution for corn flakes and extrusion operations. If you are planning a corn flakes line or seeking a drying and cooling solution for granular materials, feel free to contact the Bellaex team for equipment selection advice and end-to-end line planning. The company will continue to drive industry efficiency and quality improvement through technological innovation and systems integration.
